🚉 A safety report into the Trams to Newhaven project ‘makes disturbing reading’ according to local community council members. - Full details in Spurtle.

⚽️ Local traditional sign writer Thomas Payne is working on a fortnight-long project to recreate a 1928 sign on the outside of Hearts’ Tynecastle stadium. 🏃♀️ A local running group has shared details of a new group run starting on Saturday. Lynette from We Run Edinburgh said: “Our New Runners group is starting this Saturday, 28th Sept at 09:30. This 8wk group course is for women who want to start running or return to running after some time off. We are a supportive and friendly community, passionate about running and getting together to keep each other motivated. There are weekly updates, group chat, homework and most importantly a wider run community to get involved with.” - You can sign up here.
🚈 Today marks the end of cheaper rush hour tickets with ScotRail, as a trial scrapping peak time fares comes to a close. The rail operator said not enough people decided to ditch the cars in favour of rail to make the £40million scheme viable. It means that from Monday an anytime return ticket between Edinburgh and Glasgow will cost £31.40 instead of £16.20. - Alice Faulkner, Forth 1 News.
🍽️ A pair of local chefs have opened Nadair, a new restaurant in Marchmont serving up a five-course menu that they plan to change every day. - Lee Dalgetty, Edinburgh Live.
